This is a decent chair especially for the price. I like that the back is mesh so you don’t get hot. The lumbar support feels a bit awkward but I will continue to mess with it and am hopeful I can get it to an adjustment that works for me. The seat is flat and has a wide base which I like. I often sit with one leg under me which works for this chair design. The cushion isn’t too soft but it feels fine to me. I’ve been using it for a week and think the firm cushion works fine.
My biggest complaint is the arm rests do not adjust which sucks. The height is just awkward for me. They are not high enough for my arms to rest comfortably and not low enough to tuck under the desk when I want roll the chair into the desk.
Unfortunately I was hoping for something a bit more comfortable, but it is fine and probably what to expect at this price point.

For the price, it’s not bad, but I can’t give it four stars. Maybe even three is more appropriate.
It does roll smoothly and seems secure.
It’s also plenty wide, so it can fir larger people.
Also, the up/down adjustment works pretty much like any other office chair.
Still, from the picture, I was hoping for a more comfortable chair. It’s not that.
The seat back is fine, but the adjustment for it is awkward, and it leans back too far for me. I’ll keep working on that. Surely, I can improve upon it.
The seat bottom is cushioned, but it’s not that thick, and it’s basically flat. Read that as not very comfortable. It’s rather firm, which might actually turn out to be better for long sessions. We’ll see.
The arm rests are my biggest complaint. They are made from hard plastic, and, yes, they are hard. Bummer. Plus, they have no adjustment whatsoever. They are too high for me (6 foot, 180 lbs.) Again, a bummer, but I guess that’s what you get at this price point.

…there are some differences among them. We reviewed another one that had a too-upright default chair-back angle, which was hard to work around.
This one seems to be mostly good, except that the seat height range is from way-too-low to barely high enough. We’re using this at full elevation and with a 1.5″ firm cushion added to the seat. But other than that, it’s fine.
