I believe it was 5 simple steps. Picture instructions but easy enough. I had to get help with the upper installation but other than that, it can be done in 15-30mins. Don’t care so much for the tilt. Going up and down was easy enough and swivel great. Material seems to be good but time will tell. Would recommend

I bought one of the fabric massage/heated chairs & it had EXACTLY the kind of tilt I wanted: no effort at all, can just sit and it leans back with my body weight. I was hoping/expecting this one to be the same. But I was wrong, very disappointed. I don’t want to out in effort to tilt back at all. I don’t understand one bit why it’s so hard to find the kind of tilt mechanism I want. Gotta keep hunting then…
