   I just received the chair, this is what I can say at this time.
   1. It was easy to assemble.
   2. The wheelbase is metal. The wheels are heavy plastic.
   3. It glides smoothly and is sturdy.
   4. The seat cushion is a thick fabric, it is a roomy seat, very comfortable.
   5. The chair looks nice, it has a classy look, better than the pictures. Good quality.
   6. It’s more comfortable than other chairs, that I had. I like the adjustable lumbar support.

   I read the other reviews before purchasing so I knew about the armrest comments. I agree and I do wish that they locked in position but overall the price worked for me and my budget. I rated the chair a 5 because I do not regret this purchase and I appreciate the comfort and affordability. I am very happy 😊

   Is your back big? Are you tired of tiny office chairs that squeeze your thighs? Are you tired of being anxious about popping the wheels off of them lil 250lb weight limit chairs? Look no further, this chair right here is big back APPROVED! This is no joke, because I don’t play around about my comfort at work. If I’m uncomfortable then I can’t focus, and my job is extremely fast paced and demanding. This chair right here.. from the moment I sat down I just knew I was going to be happy with it. The assembly doesn’t take long and is fairly simple. The instructions are clear and everything is labeled properly. Shipping was crazy quick and the box was packaged properly to keep everything safe during transit. No squeaking, no rocking or unsteadiness, has smooth gliding wheels, etc. this thing is STURDY. I would pay double for this (no lie). If you’re looking for a big back chair to get you through the work day, this is the one. Affordable, comfortable, sleek. 10/10 recommend for all my fellow big backs.

   Chair seems sturdy. Has a metal base, I swapped my old caster (rollerblade type) wheels from my old broken chair on just fine. Has metal supports for the arm rests, too. Back is non-adjustable but the lumbar support can go up and down about 6 inches, shouldn’t be an issue. Seat is wide. I’m 6′ 2″ ~260 lbs and most stock office / gaming chairs are a little narrow for my dumpy. The seat also does not have those side ridges that gamer “racing” chairs have so it should be much more comfortable. Only issue is the back plastic cover showed up on the bottom of the box, and a tab was broken when I took it out of the packing. I’m going to try to glue it but it looks like there are about 5 other tabs to hold it in place. Still, you spend this much on a chair you’re investing in you’d expect it to show up in good shape. Outer main box had zero damage so I think it was just the unfortunate thing of the piece ending up on the very bottom with every other piece on top of it.

   Everything seem good, beside the facts that some wholes where the screws go in the bottom of the seat seemed a bit messed up and there were some scratches on the back plate. Lastly the lumber support moves to easily if I set it on a certain position and I move forward then back again it moves down a click or two till it’s all the way down. the assembly was simple and fast and for the sake of you nose, listen to the warning to leave it sitting outside for a while that thing smelled crazy.

   I was honestly really skeptical because of the mixed reviews I read but I thought I’d just see for myself and I am so glad I did. I’ve struggled to find a chair that can accommodate my weight and this chair is made out of surprisingly sturdy and durable material. It’s extremely comfortable. The height adjustor actually stays at the the height you set it to. It doesn’t squeak. Also the instructions were fairly simple and easy. I will say this chair weighs a lot more than I thought it would and was a bit heavy for me when putting it together but it was easy assembly and I’m so glad I made this purchase. I will update my review if I come across any issues but my first impression is great. I would highly recommend.

   i’ll start off by saying i’m a big guy, 6’3, 385lbs, I previously had a Steelcase manufactured office chair that was given to me by a friend when her office was doing some renovations, the chair was manufactured Dec 29,2003 and was given to me in mid 2004. it has been used daily for many hours over the last 21+ years, but over the last 6 months or so it’s slowly started to fall apart, and a couple days ago the recline mechanism broke (so the front of the seat tilts down when not held back by your legs) and it just got too uncomfortable to use with no feasible way to repair it. i figured any chair that lasted that long was worth looking at for a replacement……… well when i called them, the $2500 price for the same equivalent model chair sent me straight to chaircoverny.com for an alternative and after several days of researching i picked this one…… it came a day early, was super easy to assemble (a T-handle allen wrench is included and is the only tool you’ll need for assembly), it’s super comfortable and well made with heavy thick steel brackets. a couple of the wheels took some good hand force to snap into place so some people may have difficulty getting them in by hand. the recline feature isn’t adjustable as far as the degree of recline goes, but it does offer a stop that prevents reclining and a knob to adjust how much force is required to recline when not using the stop. there is no adjustable degree of recline but it offers a nice ‘rocking chair’ feel without feeling like it’s going to flop over backwards when you rock full back. the arm rest are wide and comfortable and allow plenty of adjustability and support for getting up, sitting down, or adjusting yourself in the seat. overall i’m happy with the chair, especially for the price. hopefully it holds up long term.

   I originally bought this chair to replace one at my workplace. I loved it so much, I bought one for my little creative haven. I had a faux leather chair that I would slip down in when doing my artwork, I would find myself on the edge of the seat. I needed something that was not only comfortable but easily adjusted to my desk and then to my easel. I’m tall and a full figured person and this chair is perfect for my long legs and weight, it raises very high. It’s wide, has adjustable arm rest and built very sturdy.
